FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How HubNex works with your hospital, your radiologists and your existing systems.
What does HubNex do?
HubNex matches imaging studies with available radiologists based on the subspecialty expertise required. It coordinates reporting across hospitals through existing radiology systems, with the aim of supporting more timely reporting.
Does HubNex replace our PACS or RIS?
System replacement is not required. HubNex connects to your PACS, RIS and reporting tools the way a modality does, over standard DICOM and HL7, so it works alongside the systems you already use. Configuration and integration scope are agreed for each hospital.
Who interprets the images and prepares the report?
The participating radiologists interpret images and prepare reports. HubNex coordinates the study and report flow. Validation, release and clinical responsibilities follow the agreed arrangement and applicable requirements.
How is reporting support organised across hospitals?
Participating hospitals agree the collaboration, reporting roles and allocation rules. HubNex uses the required expertise and radiologist availability to coordinate requests within that arrangement.
How can we explore whether HubNex fits our hospital?
Talk to our team about your reporting needs, subspecialty requirements and existing systems. We can discuss the relevant use case and what setup would involve.
